Abstract

The absence of toxic substances alone does not indicate good air quality. For air to effectively and beneficially perform its role for the body, it must not only be free of toxic substances but also possess certain characteristics. One of these characteristics is the presence of negative ions in the air. The lack of negative ions in the air can cause problems for humans, which are often misattributed to other causes or remain unidentified.
