complementary medicine

Complementary medicine or Alternative Medicine refers to all treatment methods (except conventional medicine) that are popular in different parts of the world and are used for all kinds of diseases and problems.

According to the World Health Organization, it includes ninety disciplines, for example, examples can be mentioned:

  - Homeopathy medicine - HOMEOPATHY (the most popular treatment method after conventional medicine)
- ACUPANCTURE
- ACUPRESSURE
- Traditional Indian medicine (Ayurveda)
- Iranian traditional medicine
And.....
In almost all fields of complementary medicine, all information of basic medical sciences such as anatomy, physiology, histology, microbiology, etc. are used and cited. What finally differentiates complementary medicine fields from conventional medicine is the way of diagnosing the disease and its treatment method.

Conventional medicine, which was introduced as the best treatment method in the world, like all old and established sciences, was not receptive to new sciences and looked at new treatment methods with a special prejudice, but with the passage of time and the flexibility and positive feedback of complementary medicine disciplines, this pessimism has been withdrawn. because the more people use these methods for treatment, the positive effects of these methods become more apparent and because complementary medicine does not show any particular bias and recommends both traditional and complementary medicine methods together, both in the group of doctors and For the patients, a certain confidence has been created and it is still progressing.
