An overview of the first health-oriented accommodation unit in Iran's wellness tourism.

On the 9th of June 2024, at the same time as the International Day of Handicrafts, from the first accommodation unit with useful properties in the field of wellness tourism, with the presence of Mrs. Dr. Jalali, the Honorable Deputy of Handicrafts of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, and Mr. Dr. Farrokhzadeh, the Honorable Deputy of Tourism Affairs and the visit of Fars Governorate, Mr. Dr. Thabit Eqlidi, the Honorable Director of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Fars Province, Ms. Lotfi, the CEO of Trita Foundation Research (Center for Specialized Studies of Wellness Tourism) was unveiled in the conference hall of Shiraz Academic Jahad Center.
Setayesh Traditional House, under the management of Mr. Mohammad Hadi Setayesh, is an eco-residence that succeeded in obtaining the certification of health tourism with grade B Plus by using several focuses (wellness event (art therapy properties), wellness menu (food and nutrition), and useful environmental parameters) were evaluated and introduced in the field of health tourism as a destination with useful properties.
